Don DeFault
I was hitchhiking across the United States. Thats when I had my chance encounter with fellows that dont care. Having completed a five year contract in le Legion Etranger, I had sated my thirst for adventure. The Quad Cities, I had been told, was as quiet and restful a place one could find. I was due for some rest. I had celled with my source of this potential destination throughout my time in the FBP. I took a good pull on my glue bag, and mused.. If ones cellmate cant be trusted, then, what other?
I caught my last ride toward the Quad Cities in a van piloted by a long haired fellow that claimed to be a guitarist. He was in the company of chatty, clean cut gent that boasted skills with strings, keyboard and wind instruments. There was talk of forming a new band. In fact, my companions were en-route to jam with a new bassist. The date was September 11, 2006.
The conversation with my new found companions took numerous twists and turns. At some point the talk became fixed on the topic of music. I allowed that I had some musical experience. Largely with percussion, including but not limited to: percussion explosives, percussive flatulence, bongos AND as an added extra, I could belch a substantial portion of the William Tell Overture with a single breath. (employing a technique shared with me by a tribal herder in Djibouti) My experience with a drum kit, as most know it, was somewhat limited, although I had once loaded one into a van during a burglary. My companions exchanged glances and advised that with this type of skill set I could be their man. The bass player heartily agreed with the two aforementioned musicians after hearing of my abilities, noting that his repertoire of belching was limited to Three Blind Mice. I would be a valuable addition to the fledgling band.

Jeff Ludin - Guitarist, Keyboards, Vocals - "Who Cares" Band
Active in music since the age of 14, Jeff (Ludi) Ludin hails from the Quad City Area and has remained close to his local roots. Starting out as a bassist and lead vocalist, Jeff stayed active in the rock & roll scene with such bands as Plug Junction, Sweet Chops, Fridaze, Backflash & Hang Loose. Always known for dabbling with various musical instruments, Jeff next filled the role as keyboardist for "The System", a classic rock & jazz band playing for local venues, and including St. Louis and Chicago. The next stop was a three year stint with the Dani Lynn Howe Band, opening shows for Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and other popular country artists. In 2005, Jeff paired up with Mike Wallace to form the acoustic duo known as The Allmost Brothers who continue to actively perform for country clubs, private parties, weddings, dinner settings and an occasional gig at local coffee houses. Unable to control the Urge to Rock we joined forces with two rockin Quad City musicians, and pumped more electricity behind the sound. Today, we are known as Who Cares, a four piece band, playing your favorite cover tunes from bands like The Allman Brothers, R.E.M., Bob Seger, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Blue Oyster Cult, Peter Frampton, Badfinger, Gin Blossoms, Marshall Tucker Band, Ten Years After, ZZ Top and more.

Peace

Dan Lewis _ Bassist
After listening to the band Plug Junction at his 8th grade graduation Dan knew he was destined to become a musician and that he was to become a Bassist. Along with his childhood friend Kevin who is currently playing with the local band ERRA they sought out other musicians and formed the teenage band Atlasta who soon became booked on a regular basis.

Upon the breakup of his first group Atlasta he put his bass away and sought refuge in front of his piano only to play bass with one other group prior to The Who Cares Band. That group was Noesis. Many years passed until Dan received a somewhat disturbing phone call from the former drummer of Noesis Don DeFault and was asked to audition for the Who Cares Band.

After completing an extensive DNA testing as well an uncommon initiation ritual. (That Dan has chosen to forget!). It was determined that he was indeed the Bassist to become the fourth and final member of The Who Cares Band thus bringing Uncommon Offerings Of Classic Rock Music to the area night spots.
