  When you visit the quad cities new restaurant called Tantra Asian Fusion Bistro,you might instead feel transported to a place of both tastful Asian adornment and delecable Asian cuisine. Sitting by a soothing waterfall fountain surround by beautiful Asian decor of yellow, red and brown earth tones and elegent lights,I think you will feel like you're not in Iowa anymore. While the sound of light asian relexing jazz in the background,I ordered my second glass of mango martini. The spices used in there dishes are perfect balanced - sweet and spicy and savory when necessary. I am a curry fan, and their green curry with eggplant is exquisite. The vegetable soaks up the flavor so well - you would never expect a simple curry to feel so decadent.Panang Salmom,which features prepared in a mild curry sauce and is topped with fresh lime leaves. I highly recommend it. The new more traditional dishes are perfect additions to an already excellent menu. Every dish is I have had has proved a worthwhile adventure.The upscale,pleasurable dining experience that allows you to"get away"for several hours. This restaurant is perfect for every occasion - quick lunch, relaxing dinner, if you are looking for something different or if you want the same dish you know you love for the evrytimes. Thank goodness we have a Asian restaurant this nice in the Quad Cities!
